First up, we have a new receptionist working with us that I hope you will give a warm welcome. Lola joined us a few weeks ago and is doing great! Julie is still here on Fridays and we are thrilled to have such a great team of receptionists.
We have a new body composition machine available at our office which we will be utilizing with your annual physical and also with our weight loss program. The machine measures weight, muscle mass, fat mass, water levels, and bone mass, and provides detailed insights and identifies health risks like visceral fat. There will be no cost for this extra service with your HRA.
As you consider your new years resolutions, it may be interesting to note that the cash price for the GLP weight loss injections such as Zepbound and Wegovy has decreased and people can get started for as low as $199/mo depending on brand and dose. The newly approved Wegovy pill for weight loss has more side effects… but if tolerated starts at only $149 per month. Our weight loss clinic is available to all our patients and extends to your friends and family as well.
If you haven’t looked at our website in a while, it has been updated. The most recent addition is a link PPG NEWS which will be a blog style page including a recap of any Friday Call-em-alls, interesting Medical information, and Office Updates such as a posting of our holiday hours.
I’m a little late, but maybe you will remember for next year, I would recommend you stand on your left foot during the New Years Eve countdown. This way you know you will start the year on the right foot.
