Dr. Born has been a practicing physician in DuPage County for over 30 years.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, he graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (Midwestern University) in 1991. He has been practicing family medicine in the area since 1994. While working, Dr. Born continued his education and received his MBA from Benedictine University in 2001 and became a Certified Physician Executive in 2002. Dr. Born has served as the chairman of the Family Practice Department Vice President of the medical staff and President of the medical staff at Central DuPage Hospital.
In 2007, Dr. Born collaborated with Dr. Kolbaba to create a Personalized Physician’s Group in Wheaton. Dr. Born and Dr. Kolbaba strive to provide the highest quality patient care in medicine today. In their independent practice, they provide personalized health programs for each person’s individual needs with efficient access and care.
Dr. Born cherishes quality time with his wife and three grown children. On Sunday afternoons, you’ll find him cheering for his favorite football team, the Chicago Bears, or watching NASCAR. He also enjoys working out, golfing with his wife, walking along beautiful beaches of the Caribbean, and spending time boating and fishing at Lake Geneva.
